Debra Lynn Cermak, 62, of rural Belle Plaine passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at her home in Blakeley Township.
Funeral arrangements are pending and with the Wagner Funeral Home of Jordan.  
Born on December 8, 1954, in Excelsior, Minnesota, Debra was the daughter of Ernest and Sara (MacClain) Olson. She was raised in the Excelsior area and graduated from Minnetonka High School.
She met Myron Cermak at his first job at the age of 16, while working together. They married in 1978 and were blessed with four children.
While married Deb and Myron lived in Excelsior, Hamburg, Kilkenny and finally in Blakeley Township for the past 30 years.  
Debra was a homemaker, and worked as a secretary for Nesbitt Agency in Belle Plaine for more than 10 years.  
She enjoyed collecting cookbooks, playing Bingo, knitting, tending her flowers, birds, but most of all spending time with her family.  
Debra is survived by her husband of 40 years, Myron; sons, Chane of Jordan; Curt (Laura) of Norwood; Thomas and significant other, Danay of Shakopee; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Terry (Linda) of Mound; sister, Jan (Dana) Ristow of Excelsior; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carly; and her parents Ernest and Sara.
