Naomi M. Schultz
Naomi M. Schultz,  81 formerly of Belle Plaine, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Oak Terrace HealthCare Center in Gaylord.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 7 at 11 a.m. at the Wagner Funeral Home of Jordan with a visitation two hours prior to the service with  Pastor Steve Trewartha officiating. A luncheon will follow the funeral service at the funeral home and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine.  
Born on May 24, 1936, (having just celebrated her 81st birthday), Naomi was the daughter of Lyndon and Noreen (Krueger) Maas. She was born in Gaylord and went to school in Henderson.
At the age of 16, she married Rueben Schultz. They were blessed with five children and lived in Belle Plaine, until the tragic passing of Rueben in 1976. Naomi then raised their five children on her own while keeping their home.
She enjoyed gardening, tending her flowers, crocheting, camping and most of all cherished time spent with family. The children fondly remember her packing them up and driving to visit their grandparents in Kasota.
Naomi is survived by her children, Charles of Chaska, Brian (Chris) of New Prague, Scott (Anne) of Belle Plaine and Stacey (Howard) of Kelliher and Robert of Carver; eight grandchildren;  eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale (Betty) of Kasota, Darwin (Joy) of St. Peter; sisters, Gloria (Bill) Berg of St. Peter and Jeanie Heilman of Kasota; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband, Rueben; parents; brother, Wayne; sister, Carol; and brother-in-law, Paul.
Pall bearers will be David Maas, Steven Mass, Doug Vickstrom, Mark Peterson, Eric Johnson and Sam Maas.
