Music on the Lawn – MAYSO Quartet

The quartet from the Mankato Area Youth Symphony Orchestra (MAYSO) will be performing at this Thursday’s free “Music on the Lawn 2018” music series, hosted by The Lutheran Home Association.

Last Blast of Summer Family Fun Night

Belle Plaine’s Cross Country Team is hosting a SuperHero Mile & Beautiful Prairie 5k with food, games and raffle. Included with admission is one hotdog, one bag of chips, and one bottle of water. If you sign up for one of the races, admission to family fun night is free. All proceeds benefit the Belle Plaine Cross Country Team.

When: Aug. 24, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., Super Hero Mile starts at 6:15 p.m.

Highland Fling at the Renaissance Festival

This weekend’s theme is featuring the Highland Fling, a celebration of Scottish and Celtic culture. Come out to watch the World Amateur men’s and women’s Highland Heavy Games Championships with the top ten amateurs from across the nation competing.

When: Aug. 25, starting at 9 a.m. and Aug 26 at 7 p.m.

Minnesota Senior Men’s Baseball

Tiger Park will be the host of eight games the final weekend as the Gray Tigers will play in the semifinals against the rival Jordan Millers. If they win, they will play for the Class AA Championship on Sun. at 6:30 p.m.
