The Carver County Fair in Waconia continues through the weekend. Tonight’s highlights include: the NTPA Tractor Pull, followed by Chopper – World’s Nuttiest DJ.

Enjoy the culture of Ireland at the Annual Irish Fair of Minnesota in St. Paul. The three-day celebration features traditional Irish music, dance, and plenty of food and beverage options.

Help in the fight against polio by joining the Belle Plaine Rotary at their Polio Plus Fundraiser at Canterbury Park.

Saturday, August 11

Belle Plaine Fire Department Relief Association will host its annual open house and fundraiser at the fire hall on East Main Street at 12 pm. Fire Truck Rides, Bounce Houses, Food & Beverages, Music & Dancing.

Friends of NRA will host their 2018 MN State Sporting Clays Championship event and banquet at the Caribou Gun Club in Le Sueur starting at 1 p.m..

St Wenceslaus Church’s 2-day fall church festival begins in New Prague with a bake and produce sale, bucket raffle and dinner. Enjoy good food, music, games, a polka Mass, crafts, pull tabs, and bingo at their popular fundraising event.

Now changed to a one day event, Lonsdale Community Days is jam-packed with its most of its familiar festivities.
