Join the Scott County Historical Society for a presentation on the unique history of the Minnesota River Valley on January 18 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m with emphasis on the interaction between people and their environment. The event will be held at the Shakopee Library at  235 Lewis St. in Shakopee.

The Minnesota River winds 370 miles through southern Minnesota. An area of fertile soil and natural beauty, the river has been a backdrop for sweeping social shifts, tragic wars, and technological change.  This talk is free and open to the public
