Enjoy the summer sun and join the Scott County Historical Society for one or more of their annual series of history bike tours. This week will feature a tour of Jordan. Tours are on the second Saturday of the month, in three remaining communities around the county. Each tour focuses on the unique environmental history of a Scott County town. Tours span between 2 - 5 miles and last approximately two hours, with frequent stops for discussion and to compare the landscape of today to photographs from the past. Registration is open now. Participants must bring their own bikes and all participants must wear helmets. This tour is open to participants ages ten and up; participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

When: July 13, 10 a.m. ā€“ 12 p.m.

Where: Meet at Lagoon Park in Jordan.

Cost: $5, SCHS members free
