The public is invited to attend Belle Plaine High School’s annual pops concert event Friday, May 10. This year’s theme is “On Broadway.”

Starting at 5 p.m., the event will kick off with food trucks, including Russell’s Traveling Kitchen, and art displays in the high school commons area presented by the BPHS art students.

The Belle Plaine tennis team will also have a food tent. Guests can cool off with a Kona Shaved Ice drink as well.

The pops concert, which will bring together the 9-12th grade choir and band, will showcase some of America’s onstage classics for an evening of nostalgia with a modern twist.

Solo and ensemble performances will take place in the south gym at BPHS.
