During the week of Oct. 28-Nov. 3, the Belle Plaine Fire Department responded to the following selected calls:

Tuesday, October 29

At 3:45 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Raven and Willow streets.

At 4:10 p.m., firefighters responded to a car-versus-motorcycle accident at the intersection of Laredo Avenue and Orchard Street.

Friday, November 1

At 3:45 a.m., firefighters responded to a medical call at Highway 169 and Old Highway 169 in St. Lawrence Township.

At 5:55 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire alarm on the 800 block of Main Street West, which turned out to be caused by burnt food.

Sunday, November 3

At 8:15 a.m., firefighters responded to a medical call on the 25000 block of Meridian Circle in Blakeley Township. The call was canceled en route.

At 1:25 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-vehicle accident at 280th Street and Hickory Boulevard in Belle Plaine Township.
