During the week of July 1 – July 7, the Belle Plaine Fire Department responded to the following selected calls:

Wednesday, July 3

At 8:45 a.m., the fire department responded to a gas leak on  Sunset Drive and West Street.

Thursday, July 4

At 2:25 p.m., the fire department responded to a motorcycle accident on  County Road 40 in San Francisco Township.

 Friday, July 5

At 5:30 p.m., the fire department was called out for weather spotting.

At 9:25 p.m., the fire department assisted an injured male on a roof on the 200 block of South Eagle Street.

Saturday, July 6

At 11:25 a.m., the fire department investigated smoke on the  200 block of North Meridian Street.

Sunday, July 7

At 11:00 a.m., the fire department responded to a fire alarm on the 800 block of West Main Street.
