Mayor Chris Meyer gathered with leaders from the City of Belle Plaine, Public Works, the Chamber of Commerce, and Belle Plaine Festivals and Events to celebrate the start of the holiday season. The holiday kickoff was broadcast to the public via Facebook Live on Monday, Nov. 30.

The building features 36 apartments with a combination of one and two bedroom units. Each unit includes a washer and dryer, central air, and off-street parking.

Fifty white LED snowflakes lining the streets of Belle Plaine were lit up for the season on Monday, Nov. 30.

Santa was spotted on top of a Belle Plaine fi re truck on Monday evening, Nov. 30, as he was testing his route for his parade throughout Belle Plaine on Saturday, Dec. 12.

Public Works decorated Townsend Park with snowfl akes and a Christmas tree. The decorations were revealed at the Holiday Kickoff Facebook Live event on Monday, Nov. 30.

Every year, the Rotary Club tries to add something new to the set. This year, the Belle Plaine Chamber of Commerce and the German Days Committee donated scenic backdrops to be used for the nativity scene.
