Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo?
On Tuesday, Oct. 1, Belle Plaine participants in the Retired Old Men Eating Out (ROMEO) program met for lunch at Andy’s Bar and Grill to catch up, meet new faces and have a good time. Last Tuesday’s lunch was well-attended with nearly 30 Romeos in the mix.
There are hundreds of self-proclaimed ROMEO groups across the country, some with a handful of members, some with more than 100. They meet for lunch or for breakfast, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
