All Belle Plaine students had the option to return to school on Monday, Jan. 18, with the exception of Oak Crest sixth graders, who can come back on Monday, Feb. 1, due to state regulations that limit the number of grades that can return to a school building on a given day. 

Oak Crest Elementary students spent their first day back in the classroom on Monday, Jan. 18, learning about Martin Luther King Jr., playing outside during recess, and eating lunch in the cafeteria at socially distanced tables.

All Belle Plaine students had the option to return to school on Monday, Jan. 18, with the exception of Oak Crest sixth graders, who can come back on Monday, Feb. 1, due to state regulations that limit the number of grades that can return to a school building on a given day.

The younger students are learning in-person full-time, though all families still have the option to choose distance learning if they prefer.

Students in the Junior and Senior High School are now learning in-person part time in their hybrid learning model.
