A Belle Plaine woman was arrested and charged with damage to property and obstructing the legal process and disorderly conduct after an incident outside First National Bank on Tuesday, May 26.
The woman identified as Maureen Mulcare, 55, was allegedly yelling expletives and flipping people from within her red Jeep. Officers reportedly witness the Jeep traveling at a high rate of speed.
Officers then responded to Mulcare's residence on the 100 block of South Meridian Street where Mulcare pulled to an abrupt stop as officers were arriving.
Mulcare allegedly began yelling and swearing at one of the officers. She was then taken to the ground and began resisting and rthe a squad car.
She then kicked on of the officer's squad cars, causing a dent, costing roughly $1400, the criminal complaint describing the incident states.
Mulcare faces up to six years in prison and $14,000 in fines
