Bulldogs Youth Hockey Association invites all boys and girls between the ages of 4-11 to experience ice hockey for free on Saturday, February 22, from 10:30-12 p.m. at Hickory Park Skating Rink located at 801 Orchard Street in Belle Plaine. The purpose of the Try Hockey for Free event is to enable kids to experience ice hockey for the first time in a fun outdoor atmosphere.

“We look forward to welcoming kids and families to Belle Plaine to try the great sport of hockey,” said Shawn Larson, Bulldog Mite Coach.  “Our goal is to for these families to enjoy watching their kids learn new skills and the big smiles on their faces.”

The Belle Plaine Chamber will have coffee and hot chocolate available.  There will be limited equipment available for use.

The Bulldogs Youth Hockey Association is dedicated to providing teaching that will develop highly skilled and motivated young hockey players. The Bulldogs develop players from learn-to-skate programs through their Varsity program, providing opportunities to compete against the best hockey players in the region.  Players learn skills both on and off the ice that will benefit them for a lifetime.
