The Scott-Carver-Dakota CAP Agency is asking the public to consider donating items to the CAP Agency, which serves people in the community who are in need. Specifically, the Agency is seeking donations of hand sanitizer, toilet paper, diapers, and wipes. They are especially in need of hand sanitizer to provide to their volunteer drivers when delivering meals to seniors.

CAP is also asking for donations of emergency kits for local families in need. These bags would include the following items: dish soap, tissues/Kleenex, toilet paper, and paper towels.

Other item suggestions include: coloring books, puzzle books, puzzles, blank greeting cards/notecards, and gift cards for grocery stores or pharmacies.

Donations can be dropped off at CAP Agency (712 Canterbury Rd South, Shakopee). The donation door is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Note: The Thrift Shop is currently closed, so they are not accepting Thrift Shop donations at this time. You can visit the CAP Agency's website at www.capagency.org for more information.
