On Wednesday, June 24, the Belle Plaine Farmers’ Market opened for the season at its new location outside Borough Bowl.

For years, the market set up shop outside the Hooper-Bowler-Hillstrom House, but with a recent departure from the Belle Plaine Historical Society, the market opted to shift its location.

The seasonal opening was delayed by COVID-19, and on Wednesday, June 24, droves of eager shoppers stopped by their favorite vendors’ stalls.

The market will take place Wednesdays from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Borough Bowl at 235 S. Ash St.
