Law enforcement officers from Belle Plaine and Scott County bussed and waited tables for a ‘Tip-A-Cop’ fundraising event.

Working alongside wait staff at the Jordan Tap Room, officers served restaurant patrons during the dinner shift on Thursday, Sept. 12. The goal was to earn extra tips, with 100% of that money going to benefit the Minnesota Special Olympics.

Police departments around the state often partner for the Tip-A-Cop fundraisers.

Special Olympics Minnesota offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round sports training and competition.
