The Sibley County Fair welcomed the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit to their 150th annual fair, which was held July 31 through August 4. The 53 foot trailer which converts to a 1,000 square foot exhibit was escorted to the fair grounds on Thursday evening by fire trucks from every town within the county. This statue is in memory of Stephen Siller, a NYFD firefighter who had just finished his shift and was on  his way to meet his three brothers to play golf when he heard what was happening at the World Trade Center. Eventually, Siller would strap up to 70 pounds of firefighting gear on his back and rush on foot through gridlocked traffic and a blocked-off Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center, where he would perish. In 2013, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation launched this mobile exhibit.
