Members of the Ney Nature Center are invited to attend a special presentation from the Minnesota Astronomical Society on Saturday, March 9. The event will take place at the Ney Nature Center in Henderson from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

This event is open to all ages and is free for Ney Nature Center members. Pre-registration is not required.

Volunteers from the Minnesota Astronomical Society will lead the 90-minute program focusing on the night sky. Participants will be able to peer through high-powered telescopes, and glow sticks will be provided. If the sky is cloudy, an astronomy presentation will still take place indoors.

Memberships will be sold at the door for those who wish to become a member or need to renew their previous membership.

The Ney Nature Center is a community-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to manage and protect the Ney Wildlife Preserve through education and interaction with the natural world.
