One local city celebration managed to hold a weekend of socially distanced festivities. Over the past weekend, Glad Days in Cologne held three days of events that included a softball tournament, movie night on the baseball field and citywide garage sales.

However, the main attraction for the weekend was a tractor cruise through town that ended at the park with a live performance from “The Six Outlaws and the Trumpetiers,” who covered a assortment of Johnny Cash songs.

Up at the park, people of all ages enjoyed the music and concessions including a variety of local vendors and food trucks. Smattered around the park were a variety of quirky signs reminding the public to socially distance as much as possible with song quote variations from iconic artists such as The Police and Neil Diamond.
