Alice Ann (Moriarty) Kne, 87, passed away September 17, 2020.

Alice Ann (Moriarty) Kne, 87, passed away September 17, 2020.
Alice Ann, born September 9, 1933, was one of six children born and raised in Belle Plaine, MN to Maurice and Loretta Moriarty. She attended the “Savage Country School” and Belle Plaine Public Schools, graduating in 1952.
She graduated in 1954 from Mankato State Teachers College receiving her Teaching Certificate, where she met and married Rudy Kne of Chisholm, MN. They raised their three children in Lakeview Terrace, California.
Alice became a devout born again Christian later in life, and she used her natural musical talents to share her faith with her church family, the homeless on Skid Row, and, frankly, anyone who would listen.
Alice could play any tune on the piano by ear. She taught herself guitar on a cross-country road trip, and the neighborhood kids all learned the basic guitar chords from her. Her house was filled with love, music, and neighbors every Christmas Eve.
She is survived by her children, Ann Marie McCarthy, Paul Kne, and Mary Beth Pritchett. She is also survived by her devoted nephew, Timothy John Moriarty; sister, Maureen Clarke; brothers, Dennis and Collin Moriarty; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Alice was predeceased by her husband; parents; and two brothers, Jerome and Terry.
Alice truly lived by the words of Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
