Rodriguez

Daniel A. Rodriguez, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, April 14, 2019 in McAllen, Texas. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. 
A graveside service with military honors took place on Wednesday, April 17 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Daniel was born in San Antonio Texas on May 23, 1947 to Salvador and Esperanza Rodriguez. He was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and attended W.B. Ray High School. Daniel proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine for 12 years which included two tours in Vietnam.
Daniel is survived by his loving children, Shana (James) Aretz of Norwood, Suzanne “Nicci” Rodriguez of Pennsylvania, Barry Rodriguez of Pennsylvania, and Renee (Josh) Eyrich of Belle Plaine; step-children Randy (Patty) Seaver of Belle Plaine, Ronnie (Phimpa) Seaver of Shakopee and George Schoenborn of St. Peter; grandchildren, Katelyn, Jazmine and Maggie Rodriguez, Jesse (Kristin), Tara and Nicci Williams, Kendra and Stephanie Kieth, Isabella and Jude Rodriguez, Brenden, Austin and Madelyn Eyrich, Justin and Jenna Seaver, Brad (Sarah) Riesgraf, Cassidy, Ashley and Anna Seaver, Katie (Chris) Herrmann, Annika and Jackson Schoenborn; and 12 great-grandchildren; mother, Esperanza Rodriguez; siblings, Emelinda Daniels, Bertha Ponce, Ofelia Chapa, Larry (Becky), Johanna Garcia, Sylvia Ramon, Salvador (Becky), Leonal, and Rachel (Gilbert) Villarreal.
He is preceded in death by son, J.D.; father, Salvador;  brother, Genaro; and brothers-in-law, Norman Daniel, Enrique Ponce, Raymond Garcia, and Rudy Ramon.
Memorials can be sent in Daniels name to Honor Guard at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery Memorial Services Detachment.
