Mabel Hilda Ingebrigtson, “Toby,” 79, of Delano passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020.
Due to the CoVid 19 pandemic, private family services will be held. Arrangements by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, Minnesota.
She was born March 2, 1941 to Arnold and Hilda (Laabs) Stier in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. Toby graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1959 and went on to complete nurses training at The Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis.
Toby was united in marriage to Carl R. Ingebrigtson on June 20, 1964 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine.
Toby was active in her church, volunteering, and working for local daycares. She was a passionate animal lover and always said she cared for “all of God’s creatures.”
She and Carl were original founding members of Light of Christ Lutheran Church in Delano. She sang in the church choir and enjoyed many types of music.
Spending time with her family and friends brought her endless joy and her grandkids meant the world to her.
She is survived by her two children, Carl Michael Ingebrigtson and Kathryn (Michael) Hagglund; four grandchildren, Kelly, Jenna, Tanner, and Hannah; two great-grandchildren, Daimon and Seth; and brother, Manley Stier; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Toby is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; and brother, Myron Stier.
