Dear Editor,

As a community, we are committed to demonstrating courage to face complex and sensitive issues directly, engaging multiple voices, reflecting on lessons of the past to inform our future, and actively invest in contingency planning.

All residents that are concerned with the proposed construction of the affordable housing apartment building on Elk Street and the possible $950,000 financing by the City are encouraged to attend the Community Conversations at Union Square Park, 5:30-7:30 PM, Wednesday, June 5. This event will bring city staff and residents together for the simple purpose of listening and learning from each other.

Respectfully,

Preserve Our Neighborhood Committee

Residents of Elk Street and Oak Village Court
