The Bulldogs’ girls’ ice hockey team fell to 1-3 for the season after a 3-1 loss at Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato on Friday night. Saturday’s Big South Conference tilt at Marshall was postponed.

Litchfield/DC scored two goals just 58 seconds apart midway through the first period. Keely Olness scored with assists to Nicole McCabe and Kylie Dunning to make it 2-1.

The Dragons (2-4-1) added a third goal in the final minutes to preserve the victory.

The Bulldogs were scheduled to welcome Mankato East to the Le Sueur Community Center on Monday night before a trip to Fairmont on Thursday for a 7 p.m. faceoff. Minnesota River will also travel to Windom for a 1 p.m. Big South match on Saturday before returning home to play Hutchinson next Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m.
