Upcoming Schedule Features Conference Leaders

The Jordan/Belle Plaine boys soccer team scored three second half goals to earn a 3-0 victory over Tri City United in a non-conference soccer match last Thursday, Sept. 10, in Jordan.

It was the second victory of the season for the Hubmen, who defeated TCU 9-2 earlier this season. TCU and the Hubmen have been long-standing Minnesota River Conference rivals, but Jordan/BP is competing in the Wright County Conference in soccer this season, as it transitioned to the Wright County Conference in all sports.

The squad will continue its venture through the Wright County Conference with a pair of difficult challenges this week. On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Hubmen traveled to New Prague to play the Trojans, who are 3-0 in the loop and 4-0 overall. The results were not available at press time.

On Thursday, Sept. 17, the Hubmen will recognize its seniors when it plays host to the Orono Spartans (1-0-2, 1-1-2). Orono is currently ranked #6 in the state.

Jordan/BP will travel to Mound-Westonka on Thursday, Sept. 24. Mound is currently sitting atop the WCC at 3-1-1.
