After a lightning delay offset the the final four Section 2AA match-up between Belle Plaine and Le-Sueur-Henderson Tuesday in Waterville, the teams resumed play with LS-H up 2-1 in the fourth inning on Wednesday.

The teams scrapped back and forth for the majority of the latter half of the contest, with Belle Plaine always making strides toward scoring but never quite capitalizing on on-base opportunities.

Finally, in the seventh with two outs against them, LS-H hammered a single, followed by an RBI double to cement their lead at 3-1.

The Tigers took the plate and never made it on base, striking out or getting out at first base three times to end the game and their season.
