The public is invited to attend a night of crafting and beer enjoyment at Oldenburg Brewing Company on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Best Christmas Ever, a nonprofit that seeks to bring joy to families who have fallen on tough times during the holidays, has teamed up with the brewpub for a night of fundraising fun.

The Christmas-themed event will allow guests to make and take home their own shelf sitters.

There will also be drink specials, door prizes and a silent auction.

The event, set for Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 6-9 p.m. at the brew pub at 116 W. Main St. in Belle Plaine costs $35. Ticket price includes a door prize.  Guests are asked to RSVP at rlueth0608@gmail.com as there are limited spots.

In addition to the upcoming event, community members are welcomed to nominate families who have fallen on tough times through no fault of their own who could benefit from  a Best Christmas Ever through Nov. 15. More information about the nomination process and the nonprofit can be found at https://www.bcemovement.org/.

Residents of the region should also keep their eyes peeled for Christmas trees with Best Christmas Ever ornaments placed at participating businesses. Drop sites include Matt Saxe Chevrolet in Belle Plaine, MN Valley Vet Services in both Le Sueur and Arlington.
