Beginning next week, you will start to see some construction activity on Hwy. 282 in and around Jordan.
Before crews begin work, they will close Hwy. 282 between Mill St. and Lydia Rd. in Jordan, beginning at 5 a.m. on Monday, May 3.
The road will remain closed through mid-June, weather permitting. Hwy. 282 traffic will be detoured around the closure via Hwy. 21, County Rd. 8, and Hwy. 13.
The closure is needed while MnDOT crews begin reconstructing Hwy. 282 between Mill St. in Jordan and Hwy. 13 just west of Prior Lake.
MnDOT will complete this work in three sections, starting with Hwy. 282 between Mill St. and Lydia Rd.
Once this section is complete in mid-June, crews will begin working between Lydia Rd. and Co. Rd. 79, before finishing up between Co. Rd. 79 and Hwy. 13.
The project will result in additional Hwy. 282 closures through October 2021, when construction is scheduled to be completed.
