There has been much coverage in the State of Minnesota regarding the Refugee Resettlement that counties are making decisions on.

Recently, in the 60 years ago news of area newspapers, the names of Mrs. Marie Eustice and Mrs. Margaret Kreger were mentioned because of a tragic auto accident.

The Christmas and holiday season of 2019 was alive and well in Belle Plaine and the surrounding area. Santa and Mrs. Claus had the opportunity to visit events and gatherings throughout the month of December.

I was pleasantly surprised to get a newsletter in the mail from Belle Plaine Public Schools District 716 outlining their Career and Technical Education initiatives.

On Wednesday, January 31, at 7:30 p.m., the Friends of Rush River (FORR) met at the Henderson RoadHaus Event Center.
