A note of congratulations to the Belle Plaine Fire Department on their 125 years of service. Saturday was a great day to be in attendance.

We are LOST customers to the new beautiful pool you have in town.

I arrived Sunday, August 4th with my three kids and my niece and nephew only to be turned away because we weren’t residents.

I invited my little brother to come home for a visit. I didn’t expect him to come.

This past week OLP hosted four homeless families, 16 people, including 10 children ages 2 months to 14-years-old. It was no surprise that we had many faithful volunteers (not mentioned here by name) that stopped ‘on the road to Jericho” to help those less fortunate.

These thoughts are in response to a letter to the editor that was printed in the Belle Plaine Herald Dated July 17, 2019.
