On Saturday, Jan. 14, all eyes were on the Belle Plaine Jazz and High Kick teams as they stepped onto their home floor at the Minnesota River Conference Championship competition.

Besting Jordan, Tri-City United/Le Sueur-Henderson, Norwood-Young America, Randolph, and Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, the Belle Plaine dance teams both emerged at the tops of their heaps with championship wins.

All-Conference Dancers

In addition to the clean sweep of the MRC competition, a number of Belle Plaine dancers were named 2019-20 all-conference dancers. They are Kara Reitz, Hannah Skluzacek, Kaitlyn Holmbeck, Brooke Adameitz,  and Skye Jacobs. Emily Maciej received honorable mention.
