It was another strong week for the Tigers with successful showings in baseball, softball, track and field, and golf.

Baseball

The baseball team defeated Southwest Christian High School at Tiger Park with a score of 12-2 on Thursday, April 22.

The Tigers remain undefeated with four wins and zero losses so far this season.

Sibley East is the only other undefeated MRC team with the same record.

The Tigers will face off against Sibley East on Friday, April 23, at 5 p.m. at Tiger Park.

Softball

On Tuesday, April 20, the girls softball team was victorious during the matchup against Sibley East at the Belle Plaine Athletic Complex.

The Tigers won 9-3.

Their next match will be away at Norwood Young America on Thursday, April 29, at 4 p.m.

Track and Field

Both boys and girls track and field teams took first place at the meet on Tuesday, April 20.

The girls competed in 21 events and had a final score of 163.5, defeating TCU (53), SWC (34.5), and LS-H (20).

The boys competed in 18 events and had a final score of 136.5, defeating TCU (78.5), SWC (38), and LS-H (15).

Track will host Mayer Lutheran, Le Sueur-Henderson, and Tri-City United at the Belle Plaine Athletic Complex on Tuesday, April 27, at 4 p.m.

Golf

Both boys and girls golf teams placed third at their respective meets this week.

The girls team played at Dahlgreen Golf Club in Chaska on Monday, April 19. The girls had a score of 268, placing them after Southwest Christian (197) and Le Sueur-Henderson (210) but above Tri City United (289), and Mayer Lutheran (Inc).

The boys also placed third on Tuesday, April 20, at ShadowBrooke Golf Course in Lester Prairie with a score of 200, competing against SWC (159), TCU (194), ML (213), and LS-H (217).

The boys compete at the Varsity Invitational at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 23, at the New Prague Golf Course.

Then both boys and girls teams will compete at Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan on Monday morning, April 26, at 8 a.m.
